Parka Up

Seeing as I am in San Fran for the next few days, I thought I would post a twisted take on the homeless and their street style here in the heart of one of the greatest cities in the world.
Who new homeless could be such fashion VICS, when it comes to Summer cover ups, distressed parkas are the new classic trench all over the world.
Although Burberry has just produced one of the greatest collections in the labels history- even the Burberry classic trench this season has been steered far away from the norm.
One of my BF's, Natalia has a beautiful silk khaki trench she purchased from H&M, team it with a slouch or draped dress and a wide Vintage belt to add waist definition and shape.

Enjoy
These are some of my FAV looks yet.

City of L O V E

SAN FRANCISCO BABY

When it comes to travel, I tend to be a bit of a sucker for major cities all over the world. Most of us would like to visit Paris London or New York, but San Fran is a city filled with atmosphere like no other.

Today I discovered a Vintage Shoppers heaven- Haight St.
Haight Ashbury was the heart of the hippy culture and it could be said, still is.
You can still experience the flavor of that era at many of the shops on haight. Mixed in between those shops of the 60's up and down Haight, high-end vintage clothing stores and a number or exclusive boutiques and many delish restaurants and cute little cocktail bars.

As you have probably gathered I am slightly obsessed with all types of boots. I found a great little shoe shop on HAIGHT that stocks boots of all types, from western to thigh- high, Docks with heels, patent gumbies, laceups and great high fashion copies!
Check out the online store at:
www.shoebizsf.com
There are 3 stores on haight st-
Shoe Biz 1 carries inexpensive, trendy styles for streetwear and clubwear. Shoe Biz 2 carries more casual styles including street sneakers, athletic sneakers, and skate shoes. And Super Shoe Biz offers dressier, higher end styles.

These are my pics of the bunch- I couldn't make a decision- I really need to stop buying boots!!!!!!
Im going back tomorrow- DANGEROUS!

A few stores down from BIZ is a vintage boutique- AMBIANCE
www.ambiancesf.com
My pick would be the rack of high waisted leather shorts and the amazing vintage fur coats that are showcased on the walls around the outer of the store- I couldn't bring myself to purchase the beautiful black bear fur coat even though it was extremely tempting.
When I was searching desperately through an accessories bin 5 minutes before close I came across a very cute vintage San Fran charm bracelet and a beautiful pair of Vivienne Westwood cream wedding shoes!

I have been such a good girl in taking SNAPS of my outfits but unfortunately I forgot my camera connection cord- which means I will not be able to post them until I find one to match or until I arrive home.
Enjoy following my San Fran findings!
Its only Day 1!

Sound OFF!

As you have probably noticed, girls everywhere are ditching the flat thigh highs for summer and trekking to the trenches in lace up man style combat boots.
I purchased a pair last week In Paddington as a Christmas present too myself, they're super comfortable and look great undone and slouched or laced up with stockings. I wore them with a black tulle tu tu and an over sized white T too lunch and got loads of compliments.
If your not as lucky as me to find the last pair-your size- on sale- I do know that WITTNER has a great patent pair for a really reasonable price.
They take a few wares to get used too but I suggest you team them with super FEM outfits so that they are not so harsh.
I have scoped out a few outfits from all over that are teamed with combat boots- these girls all look FAB!
Hope you enjoy them as much as I do because I'm In LOOVVEEE!

A deadly Sin

“Are there some women put in the world just to make you feel bad about yourself?”

I tend to be a bit of a sinner- but who isn't and as for the 7 deadlies I think that Envy would have to be one that plays on my mind alot when it comes to girls and the way they dress.
Last night I joined a group of friends for a few too many Christmas eve drinks at a local. I fell in L O V E with Jaydes black knitted cape by MEZ, it was floor length with fur inserts!!!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

This Photo does not do it justice but Jaydes outfit was banging!

I am so in love with street style bloggers and always manage to find the best and most outrages outfits in STOCKHOLM and PARIS.
Here are some of my favorite CAPES so that you can all become sinners with me.
Green was never my colour anyway.

Shes with the BAND

My lovely friend Nat, from Natalie Dodds pr http://www.myspace.com/nataliedoddspr - dragged me along to watch her band MONTPELIER play at Candys Apartment in KC on Thursday night. It was definitely a change from my usual go to gigs of Hillary, Britney and Taylor but this 4 men- pop rock BRISBANE band where outstanding!
The boys where dressed by a great new Brisbane label- Subfusco.
Montpelier have performed across Australia, and are touring as we speak!

Its a good excuse to dress grunge or on trend and at least pretend your a groupie for the night.
Enjoy
