Shed Some Skin

No one likes to cross paths with a Snake- unless of course it is a PRADA, WANG OR JACOBS bag, it is on our backs or feet and it is very much dead rather than deadly.

As much as I am seeing animal prints thrashed in accessories this season, Scaling is a new way to go snake without the extra skin.
Try sequence, beads, drops, chains and studs with over sized knits and nets!
I have just given you another excuse to run wild and shed some layers!
Its your time to shine.
Enjoy
ciao bella!

Miroslava Duma

Um, who? Yeah, I know. I don't have a blue clue either. She is a russian it girl who completely owns her own style. An obsessive search revealed that she possibly works for Harper's Bazaar Russia....and who needs a title when you look like that anyway!

I then discovered that Miroslava is indeed the girl that I posted wearing those amazing leather shorties that were at the very top of my christmas wish list!
So, in spending hours on end stalking her style I made it one of my 2010 resolutions too every day, 'do as MD would', I chose the biggest key elements of her style and ran with them.
The best thing about Miro is that she is not affraid to wear items in her drobe over and over differently every time. Her look is really all about her accessories. She has a great wardrobe of somewhat basic clothes and uses accessories to enhance, update, and change her look quite cheaply.
In nearly every outfit I spotted either an Animal Print Scarf, coloured tights or a Twisted leather sash belt most usually accompanied by a rock'n leather cycle jacket.

Come cold weather- stockings rule my wardrobe. And this season, they seem more popular than ever, with the hundreds of colours that strapped the legs all over the runways.
For us auzie gals', try them under shredded deni cut offs or leather shorties!
I hope your style inspired! I sure am!

enjoy my lovely ladies

Black Magic

For those of you who know my wardrobe, yall' will agree its pretty much the only organised part of my apartment and I could even go as far as saying my life. I colour block my drobe' in BLACKS, greys, browns and tans, whites and creams and then a really small section of coloured pieces I like to call the Rejects- this small section of my wardrobe is mainly items I have been given from work or have been left behind by friends. They rarely leave the house on my body.
After packing for San Fran last week, I looked at my stash of clothes and noticed that every single thing I had pulled out to bring with me was black (except for 2 dresses and a couple of pairs of underwear) even the 6 pairs of Shoes I managed to squeeze in where all black!!!!!
It pays to have a lot of jumping, squishing and punching training when it comes to packing for overseas travel.

When I dress and design I tend to block the same tone and colour with a majority of different textures in the one outfit. It keeps the simplicity of colour blocking but adds interest up close to detailed pieces.
I purchased a beautiful black floor length crochet Noodle skirt from Alpha60 a few weeks back which is absolutely amazing!
Here are some black textured outfits I have sourced!
We all know a black cat can be dangerous when it crosses your path.
