ALL SIGNS POINT TO YOU

Sometimes you walk into a place that you have never seen, and for some reason you know its exactly where you're meant to be....
'YOUR NOT LOST... YOU ARE HERE'
NOT JUST A STATE- A place of Adventure

Stacks on!

This is not a gameno one will be hurt in the making of this post...
No girl can get by right now without a waist-cinching belt or two to top off any outfit. Its the newest trick in a stylist handbook....Stacks on!

If your the gal with far too many options in the accessories department of your drobe then this is definitely for you. I have noticed a total obsession in editorials lately, twisting and stacking belts has become the new way to corset your waist with out looking like someone from the 16th century.
Mix and Match your belt types, go brown with black (if your mixing tones... keep them neutral), skinny over thick, embellished with vintage. You can really do no wrong. If the belt is super long... wrap it around twice and then twist is through at the end... TOTALLY CHLOE.ESK!

My friend max is certainly onto something when it comes to accessorizing. This is so yesterday for him.
If your never on time but always fashionably late- try this......

Why is it that this YSL tote makes me shake? It is rare that I will flip over a designer handbag... shoes are definitely more my thang but this little puppy is to R.I.P for.

A CONSTRUCTED GENIUS

RAFW is only weeks away, the pressure to stand out is on for all types of fishes in the fashion ocean.

It is the week of comebacks and has-beensno bodies, show-bodies and some-bodies. It is the week that the entire Australian Fashion Race come to expose their fashion Identity and bare no secrets to the outsiders of the new who's who and what's hot and not of our world.

Australian designer, CHRISTOPHER ESBER has come a long way since 2008 when he famously paraded models down the runway with green apples in their mouths.

After canceling his show at last minute for personal reasons in 2009-  ESBER- the constructed genius......is on the comeback train for 2010.

I had the privilege to work with Chris last year and was blown away by the way he deconstructsconstructsre-constructs and re-develops... His conceptual progress is as long as a piece of string and his ideas that are based around a rock solid concept are somewhat completely TWISTED....flipping love that!

CHRISTOPHER ESBER is showing DAY ONE of RAFW, Monday 3rd of May.

The CULT of the CARELESSNESS

When it comes to new relationships, there are no safety nets.

There is nothing to fall back on, there is no point in listening to the past because only the present matters.

We take things slow and don't rush into things because if we do there will be no future.

By definition 'to rush off' means- to leave somewhere fast in a careless fashion, without preparation.

Every 6 weeks when RUSSH MAGAZINE is dropped into my local, there is no evidence of 'careless fashion' when it comes to the gals who blend art, style and music resulting in a never-fail issue filled with a magical essence of a street-chic mode with unsurpassed quality.

There is no holding back now, RUSSH has taken its glossy pages to an emerging label. RUSSH the label has become a must have destination for many fashionistas who crave upcoming trends on the fashion circuit.

Geared towards girls, who urge to be distinctive. RUSSH has quickly gained a cult-like following, perfectly combining elements of tender girlish charm and bohemian flare all mixed up with a bit of rock and roll. RUSSH has become well known for their statement trends, variety and assortment, and their personalized styling.

The brand's  strength comes from the collection of creative talents working together, who have quickly brought RUSSH to the pulse of fashion, giving birth to a brand who tells a story of generation and friendship.

RUSSH is all for women who share appreciation for art, music, popular culture and nature. From tops to skirts, dresses, pants and jackets RUSSH represents the hottest finds from all over the globe!

I just couldn't resist- here is a sneak peak into new season RUSSH.

History has no past, only the present RUSSHING into the future.

To try and hold back is only to be swept aside...

ON TRACK

The last time I thought track pants could be seen outside your family home was in the era of the SPICE GIRLS and on high-school snow trips.

Move over SPORTY, twentyten will be the new year of track pants and this time we are bringing them back not only as pants but also in dresses and jackets. Designers like Alexander Wang, DKNY or Elie Tahari bring track pants to another level for the stylish people we are they are now totally wearable in any occasion and are the ultimate for a relaxed cool look.

But.....before you get to excited...monster heels are a must! Blogger Garance Doré buys her tracksuit trousers from Isabel Marant because "she has designed them for years and mastered the perfect cut" but she also says "without heels, I look like I'm en route to my hip-hop class"! Cut and shape is vital. Don't think for a moment you can simply dig out a pair of your X LOVERS' old grey tracksuit bottoms. Wear them low-waisted and slouchy and choose a tapered leg. Look for deep pockets and a drawstring waist with elastic to avoid bulk on the hips. Finally, combine tracksuit trousers with a long-line blazer, a sleeveless jacket or a cropped tuxedo. And you never want to wear anything else ever again!

Its getting cooler gals,

GET ON TRACK
