Designer Duo Genevieve and Alexandra Smart opened RAFW with a blissful and dreamy futuristic collection.
Drawing Inspiration from the spiritual world, the 'transcendent' lies beyond waking, dreaming and sleeping....as for dreaming and sleeping, the girls hit a total BULLS EYE!
This year the girls trademark prints were of course present, and the silhouette doesn't seem to have changed much from their previous season.
The runway was paraded with trench coats, structured vest and harem pants, highlighted with knotting and rouching and contrasted with sharp laser cut patterns and edges.
As much as the girls played it safe, the collection was not trend driven nor 'stolen', it was simple and just so G&S... minus the SMART.
