After a morning of shows filled with either floaty draped and knotted creations or extream BONDYCON vs CUT-OUT looks, it was so delightful to view ZAMBESI at its finest..
A well-sturctured collection, with a whole lot of 'ZAMBESI BLACK' put together in the most unprodictable way that it just screamed originality.
The models were sent down the runway in military style inspired lace pant with oversized checks and layered mesh corsets. They were styled in an almost 'school boy' manner with immaculate tailored pin stripe suits, oversized navy leather harness vest, straw hats and scout like neck scarfs....
The most inspirational aspecs of the collection were theunexpected lace and check highlights, the layeredtexured mesh and of course the Zambesi structure behind the tailored garments.. In fact, Zambesi ss2010 is by far the most beautiful collection I have seen for a long long time.
